Kartavya Welfare Foundation

A non-profit charity Company registered with ROC under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, is engaged for the last five years in the following Social and Community Development activities like:

School Education, Healthcare and Empowerment of Underprivileged Girls from the vast slums of Mumbai.

Under our ‘Vidyasha’ scheme we are presently supporting some 150 girls in Std V – XV in over 100 schools of Mumbai. In the past five years, 474 girls are supported, including 16 graduates self-sustaining themselves.

We also supply free sanitary pads to the girls. We aim to manufacture and supply compostable sanitary pads to larger number of school-going girls. We also wish to provide self defense training to the girls.

Water Conservation, Solar/Wind electricity and hot-water, Domestic Solid Waste Management and Environment Protection.

Mumbai suffers from  shortages of 1000 MLD drinking water, 500 MW of electric power, production of 9000 MT/Day of domestic solid waste. We motivate and provide special attention and services related to these issues to the residents/housing societies/institutions but at their cost and responsibility. Over 100 schemes have thus been completed in the last five years.
